Instant Yahoo! Traffic provides instant access to US Traffic Information provided by Yahoo!.

Instant Yahoo! Traffic is simple to use. Just enter your zip code at the top of the gadget to see incidents displayed on the map.

Currently Instant Yahoo! Traffic is only available for the Google Homepage and Desktop/Sidebar, but support for Windows Live, Windows Vista and many others is coming soon. Note: It appears that some of the design elements for Instant Yahoo! Traffic only work on Internet Explorer for now. This is being addressed.

Installation

Install on Google Homepage:

Install on Google Desktop/Sidebar:

Installing on the Google Desktop/Sidebar is a snap:

1. Hover your mouse over your Google sidebar until the Add button appears at the top, then click the Add button.
2. A new window will appear. At the top right of the new window, there is a search box. Enter the following web address in the box and click search: http://www.instantgadgets.com/gadgets/instantYTraffic.google.xml
3. When the search completes, click the Add button next to the icon for the Instant Yahoo! Traffic gadget.
4. Enjoy
