Instant Flickr provides instant access to the zillions of images available on Flickr, the image sharing web site. If a picture is worth a thousand words, Instant Flickr has a lot to say.

Instant Flickr currently provides instant access to Flickr Interestingness and to random recent images posted by Flickr's thousands of users. In the future, Instant Flickr will also provide access to view your favorite Flickr users' images and to view images by key words.

Currently Instant Flickr is only available for the Google Homepage and Desktop/Sidebar, but support for Windows Live, Windows Vista and many others is coming soon.

Installation

Install on Google Homepage:

Install on Google Desktop/Sidebar:

Installing on the Google Desktop/Sidebar is a snap:

1. Hover your mouse over your Google sidebar until the Add button appears at the top, then click the Add button.
2. A new window will appear. At the top right of the new window, there is a search box. Enter the following web address in the box and click search: http://www.instantgadgets.com/gadgets/instantFlickr.google.xml
3. When the search completes, click the Add button next to the icon for the Instant Flickr gadget.
4. Enjoy
