Gadgets are showing up more and more every day. Google has gadgets, Windows Vista has gadgets, the Mac has gadgets. Some are cool to look at; some keep you on time or notify you of appointments; some are just eye candy.

For us, gadgets should be fun to look at, but they also need to do something. We like gadgets that bring relevant and important information right to the desktop. For example, we buy most of our books and DVDs at Amazon, but we forget to visit Amazon to see what's new. That's where Instant Amazon comes in. Now whenever we glance at the desktop there is a new and interesting product to find -- with prices, descriptions and a picture. Problem solved.

In time we'll be bringing more useful gadgets online. We have some fun ones and some very useful ones in the works, so check back often.
